Mediation Services with Equity in Mind

I believe in social justice and compassion for my fellow community members. With these values in mind, I do my best to make my work financially accessible. I offer equity pricing for my mediation services, meaning you can select your price from three tiers, depending on what best reflects your current financial situation.

I also allow different parties in the mediation to select different pricing tiers, as I recognize there may be disparity in financial capability across the parties.

Equity Pricing Tiers

Please read the guidance below and use it to help you select the pricing tier appropriate for you when booking my mediation service. You will receive the same quality of service regardless of the pricing tier your select.

  • Clients are invited to select this tier if:

    • they have access to basic needs, such as food, housing, and childcare, but sometimes it feels difficult

    Please choose this tier even if you are able to put away money each month to save up to be able to pay for mediation, but the “Tier 2 - Standard” price would mean that you would have to save for longer than 6 months.

  • This tier is for clients who:

    • are paying off debt or working to build savings, but also have access to steady income

    • may not always be able to pay for “wants,” but also do not spend most of their time thinking about meeting basic needs, such as food, shelter, medical care, or child care

  • This tier is for clients who:

    • have access to financial security, own property, or have personal savings

    • are able to pay for "wants" in addition to needs

    • spend little to no time worrying about securing necessities in life

    By choosing this price, the client is “paying it forward” and contributing to a more equitable world by supporting mediation access for those who have less.
